About

Love Missionary Outreach Inc. (LMO) is a nonprofit Christian organization started by Kari (Brink)Umana to reach out spirit, soul, and body with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ through health care missions in Africa, specifically in Nigeria, West Africa.  Our Vision is to show the love and compassion of Christ by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the poor and needy in rural Africa.  This vision includes: 1. Establishment and development of Christian clinics and hospitals in rural and underserved areas; 2. Support of indigenous Christian hospitals in Africa in order to provide low-cost, effective care to the poor; 3. Offer free health care outreaches, short-term mission programs, and relief assistance in Africa; 4. Minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our mission medical facilities, through evangelism and discipleship programs and distribution of Christian literature.

Through this God-given vision, much has been accomplished over the past 25 years to the glory of God and for the sake of the kingdom. Countless souls have been won for Christ throughout the years. In 1995 the Imaobong (means love of God) Missionary Outreach Medical Center was established as an outpatient clinic, but it has expanded into a 3 building 50-bed hospital in the village of Mbak Ekpe, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The ministry has shipped six 40-foot containers and one 20-foot container of medical supplies/equipment, clothing, and Christian literature. Numerous medical missions outreaches have been funded and carried out all around Nigeria by Love Missionary Outreach.

Currently the finishing touches are being put on the El Olam Medical Ministry Hospital in a village outside  Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. It is a two-story hospital with multiple rooms for patient care.

A new generator was recently installed for the new facility.
